This snack is called tempe kemul, the word kemul comes from Javanese which means blanket. So, this kemul tempeh is blanket tempeh or tempeh covered in flour. It can be seen from the picture beside, this tempeh has a crunchy flour edge. Actually, this kemul tempeh is similar to mendoan tempeh, but this kemul tempeh is the crunchy version.

Ongklok are noodles which thick, starchy boiled noodles originating from Dieng, Wonosobo.
Why is it called Ongklok noodles? The word ongklok itself is used to refer to a slicer made of woven bamboo which is used to boil noodles, cabbage and chives. Then lastly, this Ongklok noodle is also served with satay on top!
Don't forget to try it if you go to Dieng!! 😜🤩
